President Baiyu Liu represents KCLSU at Sustainability Conference

Mr. Baiyu Liu, Mr. Hasnain Jafer, and other attendees of the Ethical Finance Training Conference, 28 August 2025.

LONDON, 28 August 2025 -- Mr. Baiyu Liu AMBCS FRSA MIoD, President of the King's College London Students' Union ("KCLSU"), represented KCLSU at an Ethical Finance Training Conference, organised by Students Organising for Sustainability. President Liu was joined by Mr. Hasnain Jafer, Vice President Education (Health) at the KCLSU.

President Liu was inspired by the content of some of the conference, in particular the commitment to sustainable growth and investment, aligning with the new administration's commitment to fiscal prudence and practical efficiency within the KCLSU's operations.

President Baiyu Liu said:

"This new administration seeks to grow independently and form relationships with forums such as Students Organising for Sustainability - so that we can learn, grow, and work together. At the core of this event's theme is sustainability - both environmental and financial. It is on us as KCLSU leaders to ensure that the KCLSU's finances are allocated responsibly and only in the interests of KCL students."
