LONDON, 16 October 2025 -- President of the King’s College London Students’ Union, Baiyu Liu AMBCS FRSA MIoD and KCLSU Events in collaboration with CityFiestas, hosted a successful King’s Gala Phase I and Phase II, in collaboration with the Courtauld Students’ Union and Royal College of Arts Students’ Union.
This emphasises the success of President Liu’s commercial strategy of building strong, independent, SU-commercial partnerships. Both events were highly successful and were sold out. Students gave positive feedback.
Ms. Amanda Chen, one of the attendees of the event, said: “I have never had so much fun in my life - I made friends with so many fellow freshers. Coming from a small town in Wales, I never knew big city life was this exhilarating. It is surreal that the President attended himself, demonstrating the great engagement the SU has with its membership.”
This is the start, but not the end of KCLSU’s collaboration with other SUs. Smaller SUs traditionally struggle with hosting big events and we are here to give them an avenue for their students to enjoy university life in London, as they should be.
