President Baiyu Liu promoting KCL to prospective international students from the People's Republic of China.

LONDON, 18 August 2025 -- Mr. Baiyu Liu AMBCS FRSA MIoD, President of the King's College London Students' Union ("KCLSU"), has reaffirmed his commitment to promoting King’s College London (KCL) as a world-leading institution for international students, particularly those from China. Reflecting on his own experience as a student leader, he highlighted KCL’s academic excellence, diverse community, and outstanding global reputation as key reasons why prospective students should consider studying at the university.

KCLSU President Baiyu Liu said, emphasising the importance of KCL maintaining its competitive edge in global higher education:

"To continue attracting the brightest minds and driving innovation, KCL must strengthen its international partnerships and invest in student development."
"Our university has a proud tradition of research leadership and social impact, and we must build on this to equip students with the skills they need for an increasingly interconnected world."

President Liu also shared his personal journey at the university, crediting KCL with providing transformative opportunities through academic rigour, extracurricular activities, and student leadership roles. He encouraged incoming students to fully engage with university life, stating: "KCL offers an environment where students can challenge themselves, grow as individuals, and contribute to a vibrant, diverse community."  

President Liu concluded by congratulating all students who have secured their offers to study at KCL. "This is a tremendous achievement, and we look forward to welcoming our newest cohort," he said. "Their success is a testament to their hard work, and we’re excited to see how they’ll shape KCL’s future."
