LONDON, 21 August 2025 -- Baiyu Liu AMBCS FRSA MIoD, President of the King's College London Students' Union, met with His Excellency Paul Andrew Gomez JP, the High Commissioner of the Commonwealth of The Bahamas to the United Kingdom, at a visit to the High Commission of the Bahamas today.
President Liu and High Commissioner Gomez discussed a wide range of topics, including increasing educational engagement between the KCL and higher education institutions in The Bahamas, and increasing awareness of the Bahamian community's contributions to the higher education landscape in the United Kingdom. They also discussed representation of Caribbean students at KCL and opportunities to celebrate Caribbean culture.
President Liu sends his thanks to High Commissioner Gomez and members of his team for organising this visit and facilitating the meeting.
President Liu has always been committed to learning about different countries and their approach to international relations. While KCLSU is a student organisation, KCLSU is also an international community with students from across the world.
