Sam's Tailor, founded in 1957 is one of Hong Kong's longstanding bespoke tailors with a tradition of fine tailoring. Run by three generations of the Melwani family, and with clientele that has included Monarchs, world leaders, and leading movie stars, Mr. Melwani's leadership has further expanded the business and utilised social media, leading to his business garnering a mass youth following online.

President-Elect Liu said:
"To see Roshan Melwani, an online influencer and innovator in the tailoring space from Hong Kong, visit King's College London as part of his visit to London is a testament to the international reach that our historic institution has, and the diversity of our student community."
"The strong demand for students to see Mr. Melwani shows that KCL continues to be the pre-eminent Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions ("MICE") venues in London. Nestled in the heart of Central London and close to major underground stations, as well as world-famous tourist sites such as the Palace of Westminster, National Gallery, and so much more, KCL is the place to host your event. My Administration will build on this legacy and facilitate more events on our campus."
