LONDON, 19 May 2025 -- KCLSU President-Elect Baiyu Liu met with the High Commissioner of the Republic of Singapore to the United Kingdom, His Excellency NG Teck Hean, at a visit to the High Commission of Singapore in London organised by the London Forum for Middle East Affairs.
Mr. Liu was one of thirty students from universities across London who visited the High Commission to learn about Singapore's foreign policy, commitment to multilateralism, and history. The High Commissioner discussed Singapore's remarkable achievements from independence in 1965 to now and how Singapore navigated its place in the world as a small island nation.
Mr. Liu sends his thanks to High Commissioner and members of his team for organising this visit, alongside the London Forum for Middle East affairs for bringing this event together.
As President-Elect, Mr. Liu has always been committed to learning about different countries and their approach to international relations. While KCLSU is a student organisation, KCLSU is also an international community with students from across the world.
