President-Elect Baiyu Liu announces Plan of Action to implement Manifesto commitments

LONDON, 1 April 2025 -- President-Elect of the King's College London Students' Union ("KCLSU") announces the commencement of the Plan of Action, a list of declarations and proclamations made by the President, which will be formally made on taking office on 1 August 2025. This demonstrates the President-Elect's commitment to fulfilling his campaign promises and making King's College London a more inclusive and affordable campus.

The Plan of Action specifically directs the establishment of a Consultative Committee to investigate (1) expansion of the King's Affordable Accommodation Scheme ("KAAS"), (2) the introduction of the Minimum Funding Guarantee for KCLSU-affiliated societies, and (3) the introduction of the shuttle bus programme. Under the Plan of Action, the President will serve as Chair of the Committee and direct Committee members to thoroughly research options for implementing these policies in the most practical and cost-efficient manner.
